Your website comes first

There’s a million things that designers can do to make your website look new and edgy. A complete redesign in flash. Your content, or menu bar done inside animated graphics. A whole page for a website, content and all done as a jpeg image.

We’ve seen it all. When you strip the website from the fundamentals of sound design, like these examples above, your website strips the search engines of the ability to find it, rank it, and provide you with the chance of being visible to your customers.

There are ways to make your website continue to look beautiful, and continue to provide quality content that search engines will find, and rank. A good web designer will be able to assist you in this.

Your site doesn’t have to be text heavy and dry. A good designer will liven it up, and make it visually appealing. A good amount of “summarization” content on the home page will go a long way for your rankings, however. This is what the search engines will see for a description about your company on the page that will matter the most. So let your customers know, and let the search engines know.

A good web designer will know this. And a good web designer will know how to make your site visually appealing.
